Live wedding illustration is more than just entertainment—it’s a way to bring personality, creativity, and unforgettable memories to your wedding day. But what kind of live illustration experience suits your wedding? Are you wondering how live illustration will fit into your big day? Are you unsure how many guests you will want illustrated or whether you want any optional extras?

This quiz is designed to help you figure out how to tailor my live illustration services to best complement your day, according to you and your partner’s personality traits and likes and dislikes. I offer 3, 5 or 7 hour packages but if you’re looking for something a little different I offer extra services that I highlight below to create a truly bespoke service. If the decision fatigue of wedding planning is getting too much this quiz simplifies it for you and adds a bit of fun to your planning!

Your vibe: You’re the duo that loves live music, quirky touches, and artistic flair - basically, your dream wedding feels like a mini festival with music, art, and creativity from start to finish! Pairing live illustration with live music means your guests will be entertained from day to night.
Your perfect match: Combine a live illustrator with live music for all-day entertainment that flows from chilled-out reception to late-night dancing. Guests can enjoy getting sketched while sipping cocktails while listening to a live saxophonist, and then hit the dance floor when the band kicks off. Add on a first dance illustration to your package too and I can paint it after the wedding! Consider commissioning hand painted table names and signs too, which I can design in your colour scheme and style to make your wedding look gorgeous and personal.

Mostly Bs - The Family Focused

Your vibe: You’re all about celebrating with the ones who matter most. Your wedding is a heartfelt gathering of close family and old friends.
Your perfect match: My Ruby 3 hour package is great if you’d like to treat your family and nearest and dearest to illustrations. It covers up to 25 guests, or there’s also the Emerald package available for those with larger families or wedding parties. I can also do an A4 or A3 family portrait of you altogether.

Mostly Cs - The Eco-Concious Lovebirds

Your vibe: Thoughtful, ethical, and stylish. You’ve crafted a low-waste wedding using pre-loved treasures and sustainable choices.
Your perfect match: A live illustration is a wonderful sustainable favour that will last for years - I use compostable sleeves to protect the artwork so there is no single use plastic. For posting I only tissue paper, cardboard and paper packaging to protect your illustrations.  So my illustrations are entertainment and an eco-friendly favour in one! Collect second-hand frames so your guests can choose their favourite to display their illustration. (I did steal this idea from one of my brides but thought it was such a lovely touch!)

Mostly Ds - The Sentimental Souls

Your vibe: Romantics through and through. You’re the couple who wants to keep every card, flower petal, and handwritten note —and that includes sneaking off with all the guest illustrations for yourself (no judgement here!).
Your perfect match: I now offer an upgrade - using a portable scanner, I’ll scan all illustrations during the event, then create a custom wedding memory book featuring beautifully edited versions of each piece. Your guests keep their original, and you get a stunning keepsake to flip through forever. (Note: This option requires me to bring along an assistant, so please enquire at the time of booking.)

Mostly Es - The Spontaneous Planners

Your vibe: You're not ones to overthink - you're making the magic happen, fast. Maybe you're planning your wedding in a whirlwind, or maybe you just forgot to book entertainment in the rush of everything (oops!).
Your perfect match: I sometimes have last-minute availability, especially on weekdays or weekends from November - March, so it’s always worth enquiring—even if the big day is around the corner! If I can’t make it in person, I can create custom portrait place cards and post them in time for the wedding.

Mostly Fs - The Social Butterflies

Your vibe: Life is one big celebration and 'the more the merrier' is your motto and you’ve invited all your friends to be part of your big party!
Your perfect match: With a guest list that large, you may be finding that the 7 hour Diamond package (which covers up to 60 guests) isn’t big enough to get all of your guests illustrated. Fear not, I can illustrate guests after the wedding so that everyone can get an illustration of themselves! I’ll need to know how many guests you’d like illustrated before the wedding to allow me to get all their photos on the day and then I can illustrate the rest afterwards and send them to you. Contact me with the number of guests you’d like illustrated to get a quote. If you think that not all your guests will want an illustration (crazy, but it can't be everyone's cup of tea, I suppose) then get a quote for say 80%-90% of your guests and you can pay to get extra illustrations after if everyone decides they want one!
